There is flexibility within this programme to start and end at different points within the year. This will enable young people turn their lives around and move into employment, education or training by building social skills, boosting confidence, and making new friends. It is aimed at people aged between 16 and 19 who are not currently in education or employment. You will receive help with CV writing, job hunting, and get involved in community work which will boost your transferable skills in areas such as basic first aid and food hygiene. You’ll also receive a nationally-recognised qualification in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills on completion of the course. The course is free, and does not prevent you from claiming Jobseekers’ Allowance. Help could be available to cover travel expenses. All of the things you do through the Achieve programme will count towards a recognised Prince’s Trust qualification for your CV or UCAS form.
