An excellent grounding in supporting children in early years, education (primary, secondary or special education) and the wider community.
You’ll gain a thorough understanding of child development, reflective practice and safeguarding alongside language and literacy and supporting individual needs. The course draws on a wide variety of key topics that are pertinent to all roles within the sector, supporting students in enhancing their knowledge and skills for career development either within their current workplace, or wider afield.
This course is suitable for any professional currently working as part of the early years/education workforce or a related support service, who does not hold a degree-level qualification.

You can progress to study a BA(Hons) top-degree at university, which usually takes 18 months on a part time basis. There are a range of courses available including BA(Hons) Special Educational Needs, Disability, Inclusion and Childhood and Family Studies at University of Wolverhampton. Following this, you can also complete your teaching training qualification.

Must be employed or have 1-2 years experience in a related field and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.
You should also have GCSE English at grade C/4 or above or an equivalent qualification.
